information contact: Besser Family of Companies Expands Kevin Curtis, Besser Company president, announced on 27 January that Jim Arbuckle, Besser vice chairman and CFO, finalized the agreement which joins the resources of Concrete Mold Components, CMC, with those of the Besser Family of Companies. The addition of CMC enhances the ability of Besser to provide customers with prompt delivery of specialty molds. The thirty-nine employees of CMC, in Compton, California specialize in the design and production of specialty molds for the concrete products industry. CMC is recognized throughout the concrete products industry for providing unparalleled customer service. The synergy between the CMC and the Besser Family of Companies lies in a shared customer base. CMC customers are primarily located in the western United States, western Canada and Mexico. Maurice Alhadeff, Ian Alhadeff, Armando Sy, Rafael Fernandez and Claire Vosburgh will continue to lead activities at CMC to insure continuity of operations.
